Dear Parent/Guardian,
Starting school or starting a new school year can be stressful at the best of times, let alone during a global pandemic. As you know we have been working very hard to keep our school as normal as possible over the last year or so. Our aim is to welcome all pupils and staff back to a safe learning and working environment.
Children may feel nervous or reluctant to return to school. But it is important that they return for their well-being, physical health and learning. School is the best place for them to be. They will be able to see their friends and teachers and continue learning new things.
Reassure children about safety measures in place to keep students and teachers healthy and remind children that they can also help prevent germs spreading by washing their hands with soap and coughing or sneezing into their elbow. Children should not come to school if they are displaying any COVID like symptoms. We need to work together to keep everyone safe.
I would encourage you to help your child make the safe transition back to school. If you have any concerns you can contact the school at hscllecheile@gmail.com.
