On Wednesday 26th February our Sing Out With Strings orchestra and choir performed out in The Irish World Academy of Music & Dance in the stunning University of Limerick. This was our choirs first performance and they were amzing. In conjunction with St. Mary’s NS and the Irish Chamber Orchestra, this luch time concert was watched by a very enthusiastic audience. The children were showcasing all they have learned since Septmeber and we really must emphasise how wonderful they were. We were treated to gifted musicians, composers and singers. The programme is allowing our children access the very best of music education from the exceptionally knowledgeable staff of the Irish Chamber Orchestra. Our students represented the school with pride & professionalism and we are very proud of each and everyone of our performers. We are already looking forward to the next performance. A huge thanks must go to all the staff of the Irish Chamber Orchestra for their time, expertise & commitment and of course our very own Ms. Nolan. Well done all!!!
