Chess is a popular activity at Le Chéile National School. We see it as a wonderful opportunity for pupils to make friends, develop their critical thinking and to compete with others in a friendly way.
Chess club runs from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. each Thursday in the PE hall.
We also participate in blitzes with our neighbouring schools and beyond. These matches give the opportunity for our girls and boys to represent their school and area.
We are always happy to accept new players!
