Le Chéile NS had a renewal visit for our 5th Green Flag on Thursday February 27th 2020. Fiona Barry an officer from Green Schools visited the school. She met with the Green schools committee and went through all the work we have been doing on Biodiversity over the past two years. We will hopefully receive a letter in the next few weeks letting us know if we have been successful with our application. Keep your fingers and toes crossed.

Promoting long-term, whole-school action for the environment Green-Schools is a student-led programme with involvement from the wider community. The programme is operated and co-ordinated by the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce (FEE member for Ireland).
