On Wednesday 23rd January 2019, the Liam McCarthy Cup visited Le Chéile NS. It was a fantastic day, filled with excitement and joy. We had the privilege of welcoming back our retired hurling coach and former All-Ireland winner (1973) Bernie Hartigan. Bernie paraded the trophy throughout the school to huge cheers and jubilation.
