Woodwork 2019

Fifth class parents and children recently completed a five week workshop focused on woodwork with their Community Education tutor Brian Mitchell. The programme involved fourteen parents and children. The project utilised cross-curricular subject areas with a strong emphasis on numeracy. Children and parents were measuring, constructing and estimating during the design of their bird boxes. Champions League Soccer Tournament

The recently held Le Chéile Champions League Soccer Tournament concluded after a series of epic encounters. With teams from 3rd and 4th classes, the tournament got off to a flying start with a series of very exciting and closely contested games.
